Job Description:
New Hope Church is an evangelical, Bible-believing Church located in beautiful South Fork Colorado. The South Fork area has a year around population of approximately 1,000 people with a summer population of around 4,000. We believe in God the Father, the Maker of heaven and earth. We believe in the Holy Bible as the inspired Word of God, that is both perfect and without error, and the final authority on all matters of faith and practice. We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus.
We believe in His sinless life, that He was crucified for our sins, buried, and on the third day rose from the dead. We believe He ascended into heaven, sits at the right hand of God, and will return to earth to judge all people. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the _noemailiveness of sins, salvation by grace through faith, the resurrection of the body, and eternal life in heaven for all who believe in Jesus as Savior and Lord.
New Hope Church is led by our Elders. Our Pastor serves as the Elder Chairman, visionary, leader, teacher and preacher. He and his staff lead our church towards fulfilling our vision and mission of reaching the world for Christ and creating a healthy church_noemailmunity. It is the responsibility of the Elder Board to pursue the Holy Spirit on behalf of, and the Lord¡¦s will for New Hope Church in virtually all matters of church business and spiritual direction. It is the responsibility of the Elder Board to inform and educate the congregation on major decisions made.
New Hope Church is looking for a full-time pastor to fill the following job description:
„h Leading in providing spiritual direction for the church
„h Preaching at all worship services and if unable to do so, arranging for someone else to perform this function.
„h Leading and providing worship through song with an ability to utilize and provide a healthy blend of both traditional hymns and modern praise music. (This requires musical, song, and instrumental ability, as we do not have full-time musicians)
„h Proclaiming the gospel and leading Church members to proclaim the gospel to others.
„h Leading the Church leadership in performing its duties.
„h Provide administrative leadership for the total church program.
„h Leading the staff and the Church in a caring ministry toward persons in the Church and in the_noemailmunity.
„h Leading in planning, conducting and evaluating all services of worship.
„h Leading in training elders, deacons and all other church workers in the performance of their responsibilities.
„h Maintaining program visitation to Church members.
„h Teaching Christian stewardship through training and by personal example.
„h Supervision of all church staff and other employees.
„h Planning and leading in the observation of the Church ordinances.
„h Conducting funeral services, wedding ceremonies and other special services as called upon and involving other staff as needed.
„h Counseling Church members as needed.

Minimum Requirements
„h Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university(preferably in theology related studies) and preferably a master¡¦s degree from Seminary in theology related studies.
Pay and Benefits
„h Salary Package $45,000 - $60,000 depending on experience
„h 2 ¡V 4 weeks paid vacation depending on experience
