The Director of Music and Student Ministry position will be a dual role_noemailprising a full time position at the associate staff level.

General Description: The Director of Youth Ministry is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the spiritual growth and development of middle school and high school students(grades 7-12). This includes leadership of weekly programs and periodic special events as indicated.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Staff in developing an internship program for youth ministry
- Lead a team of volunteers and interns in the creation and operation of youth ministry
- Identify, train, and develop volunteers to assist in the ministry
- Train students in leadership and develop responsibility, accountability and involvement of students in ministry
- Educate, encourage, and facilitate youth to participate in outreach
events and mission trips

- Create and manage a youth ministry calendar
- Design, plan and conduct periodic youth parent meetings
- Assist in the development of an annual budget for youth ministry and manage spending this budget
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Connect students, parents and volunteers to life and service in Grace Bible Church
- Other duties as assigned
General Description: The Director of Music is responsible for leading the music in all corporate worship services or recruit, train, and assign musicians to lead the service with the ultimate goal of congregational singing.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Identifying, training, or turning down of musicians
- Determining the need for, scheduling, and coordinating practice each week
- Choosing songs for corporate worship services with input from Senior Pastoral Staff
- Formulating and executing a plan for teaching new songs to the congregation
- Must possess the ability to arrange music (e.g., change keys) to fit the musicians and make each song singable by the congregation
- Lead the congregation to sing across genres of worship music
