Formal education, training, and/or experience sufficient to develop and direct the spiritual formation of
children and adults
Bachelor's degree, preferably in religion, education, sociology, or_noemailanizational development.
Demonstration of the required skills through the successful conduct of these skills in previous
employment experiences.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversees the spiritual formation of members and friends of Fairmount from birth to adulthood, choosing content in collaboration with the staff for children and adults (not including youth)
Empower a group of volunteers to help coordinate the work of the Faith Formation Council
Collaborate with staff to create multiple entry points for spiritual development (worship, education, workshops, retreats, etc.)
Recruit, train and support volunteer teachers for spiritual education opportunities (children and adult)
Provide resources to encourage individual and family spiritual practice at home
Actively participate in weekly worship as directed by Head of Staff
Coordinate Godly Play ministry
Serve as primary staff advocate for children and their parents
Work with staff and leadership to create an annual speaker series geared towards spiritual
development
Coordinate_noemailpliance by all volunteers of current child protection policy
Supervise the Early Childhood Coordinator
Work with all Ministry Teams associated with children ministries
Work with music staff to facilitate successful Christmas Pageant and Spring Musical
