Job Description:

Friendship United Methodist Church in Wyoming, Ohio is looking for a full-time, ordained associate pastor who will be responsible for leading all aspects (preaching, liturgy, music) of our contemporary worship service, promoting outreach and church growth and building pastoral relationships with current and prospective members. The Associate Pastor of Contemporary Worship must have a deep love for Jesus Christ and His people; be passionate about vibrant worship and have the abiliy to engage worshippers through contemporary music and the Word.

Desired Qualifcations:
Ordained Pastor professing beliefs in agreement with FUMC doctrine, mission, and values (please see our website);

Creativity in planning worship that both inspires and challenges;

Knowledge/appreciation of contemporary Christian music;

Ability to engage the hearts of the people through music and words;

Ability to sustain a strong volunteer culture and be a team player;

A track record of impactful and effective worship leadership.
