Technical Director
Job Description:
Bridges Community Church of Los Altos, California is seeking a part-time Technical Director. If you have skills with running sound, setting up and tearing down instruments and microphones, enjoy lighting and video, we'd like to speak with you.
Responsibilities
Support church events around campus including worship services, rehearsals, weddings, memorials, and other services
Acquire, maintain, and replace AVL instruments and systems
Recruit, train and deploy volunteer sound, lighting, and video engineers for church events
Work with LACS to achieve optimum AVL support for weekly and school-wide events
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Abilities
Experience working with volunteers
Experience with digital and analog audio consoles, light consoles, and some video production
Comfortable mixing traditional and modern music styles
Must possess responsive, professional and courteous attitude
Comfortable in a collaborative, team-driven atmosphere
Scope
Part-time (12 hrs per week at $20 per hour)
Reports to Worship Director
Rehearsals and worship services
