Youth Pastor Job - Light of Christ Church, Charlotte, North Carolina

Our Light of Christ "IGNITE" Youth is a small, but passionate group of young people, 6th-12th grade who are actively involved in weekly worship services and small groups. We currently have 15-20 youth who faithfully attend Wednesday Night (35-40 total young people, if they all came at once).

Wednesday Night Gatherings include dinner, worship and can include 'break-out' discussion groups.

Youth Pastor responsibilities would include:
- Weekly Staff Meetings
- Oversight of weekly Small Groups (Middle & High School on Sun. Mornings)
- Planning of regular Youth Mission Projects
- Annual Summer Missions Trip, Spring Retreat, & Fall Retreat
- Annual Youth Sunday (and other creative youth-led worship opportunities)

The Youth Pastor plans along side a Youth Council, and trains and partners with volunteer youth leaders.

Supervision: Lead Pastor and Staff-Parish Relations Committee
