Associate Pastor
Job Description:

The Associate Pastor will be given primary responsibility in the following areas:
Directing the Outreach and vision of Cornerstone Eldridge
The Associate Pastor will oversee_noemailmunity outreach ministries that involve the people of Cornerstone in both evangelizing the lost and in serving unchurched people by meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. He will implement and oversee methods to fulfill the vision of Cornerstone. He is also free and encouraged to lead mission trips outside the Quad Cities area as desired and approved by the Deacon Board.
Directing the Assimilation and Discipleship Ministries of Cornerstone Eldridge
The Associate Pastor will oversee the process of discipling and assimilating new worship attenders, seekers, new believers, and new members.
Directing the Congregational Care and Small Group Ministry of Cornerstone Eldridge
The Associate Pastor will oversee the development, expansion and leadership training for congregational care and small groups in the church.
Assisting in Pastoral Duties
The Associate Pastor will assist the Senior Pastor in general pastoral duties (counseling, hospital visitation, occasional weddings and funerals, some preaching and teaching) according to his gifts and passions and the needs of the church.
Overseeing the Director of Children's Ministries
The Associate Pastor will oversee the work of the Director of Children's Ministries.
