Title: Worship Pastor
Job Type: Full time
Pay: Starts at $20,000 plus support
Oversees: Worship Leaders, Worship Team (includes all AVL), Set Up Leader/ Team, Creative Team
Primary Role: To be a visionary leader that creates and cultivates the Worship Experience,_noemailbining Biblical truth with artistic elements to magnify the worth of God for the gathered church.
General Description Role: Cast vision and direct the planning, preparation, practice and platform excellence for the weekly Worship Experience and Creative Team.
Reports To Lead Pastor
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)
Primary architect to execute vision for the Weekend Experience
Create worship experience set list and service flow with Lead Pastor
Lead the way in creative excellence
Be the primary dynamic worship leader, leading with passion.
Lead the charge in cultivating and protecting the LIFEGATE worship culture
Shepherd the worship team
Pastor the congregation through the teaching of biblical worship, both theological and expressional
Eventual writing & recording of songs for the church
Develop the Worship Team
Recruit, train, develop and grow the worship team & worship leaders.
Create a culture of celebration
Set-Up Leader & Team
Ensure team is staffed, trained and equipped
Develop efficiency in the set-up process
Oversee the Creative Team
Deploy innovative practices to oversee the advancement of the website & social media
Direct the graphic designers & film-makers

Demonstrates vocal dynamic range and is a passionate worship leader
Understands the skill of music and can play one or more musical instruments
Understands various elements of audio, visual, media and other areas of technology used in the church
The ability to cultivate a team approach by working with people of various temperaments and talents. Strong team player.
Proactive, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
Ability to_noemailmunicate clearly, thoroughly and in a timely manner with team and supervisor
Is driven by passion which shows in excellence, creativity and resourcefulness
Is approachable and thrives on engaging and building rapport with others
Available to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, when required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Committed, growing, mature believer
BA or MA degree preferred
