Chinese pianist Xiying Zou is currently a second-year Master's degree student at the Manhattan School Of Music in New York City, under the tutelage of Dr. Joanne Polk since 2014. Ms. Zou started studying piano when she was just five years old, and was eventually admitted to the Conservatory of South China Normal University with the highest scores. During her college years, Ms. Zou studied piano with great artists such as Dali Wang (Associate Dean of the Conservatory of South China Normal Univerisity), as well as Dr. Mei Zhu (Associate Dean of the piano department at Xinghai Conservatory of Music). In May 2014, Ms. Zou held a debut solo recital in Guangzhou. During her college years, she attended the Shanghai International piano festival, where she also participated in masterclasses with Barry Snyder (Eastman School of Music) and Dr. Marc Silverman (Manhattan School of Music).
Various a_noemailplishments include outstanding results in a number of_noemailpetitions, including first prize (Schubert category) and best performance award (Liszt category) in the 2nd Internationaler Deutscher Irmler-Klarvierwettbewerb, and several other prizes in the 2012 academia pianistica incontricol maestro China Young Professional Group, the 3rd Hong Kong International Piano Invitation Competition Young Professional Group, and the 3rd International Deutscher Irmler-Klarvierwettbewerb.
On 3/17,2016, she successfully done with her Masters graduation recital at Miller hall in Manhattan School of Music.
