Minister of Creative Worship Job - Portland Community Church, Beaverton, Oregon

RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruit, develop and mentor (musically, technically, and spiritually) participants in the worship ministry
Work with the Lead Pastor in planning worship services, including selection of songs and other musical/worship_noemailponents that fit with the weekly message and theme
Recruit, develop, and encourage volunteer musicians to assist in worship services
Recruit, develop, and encourage volunteer sound, lighting, video and camera techs to assist in and create materials for worship services
Recruit, develop, and encourage volunteers with dramatic dance, theatre arts, and other types of arts to contribute to worship services
Organize and lead weekly rehearsals
Have a heart for worship and be the producer of all our worship services
Assist with_noemailanizing and leading special worship services (Good Friday, Easter, Christmas Eve, Weddings, Funerals, and Concerts)
Report to and conform with CCLI to maintain copyright integrity
Manage the Worship Ministry budget
Oversee hosts, ushers, connections,_noemailmunion, and baptism teams
Help with other ministries in the church according to interest and ability, as agreed to with the Lead Pastor

Lead with excellence, maturity, professionalism, and integrity
Be a worshiper of God in and outside of worship services
Be present at all meetings and events early or on time and on Sundays at least two hours before the service
Be a team player in working with other church staff
Experience with technology: multi-media files, formats, presentation, social media, texting, email, etc.
Has had leadership experience in a successful church worship program
