Awesome opportunity for the right person! The Executive Assistant schedule is Monday thru Thursday: 8:30am - 4:30pm. The salary range starts @ $28,000/year which is the equivalent of $17.50 per hour. Health / Dental benefits are also available.

This position will assist in maintaining the order of operations, ministry and administrative functions of the church office. The Executive Assistant is an integral position for supporting the daily functions and responsibilities of the Senior Pastoral Staff. As an internal and external liaison to the Pastoral staff, the candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, have excellent organizational and interpersonal capability, along with a flexible, adaptable, proactive attitude within a dynamic, active, and growing church community.

This position must be capable to maintain a high level of sensitivity to the confidential nature of the position, and exhibit high level problem solving and decision making skills. The Executive Assistant for Beach Fellowship will support and facilitate the effective communication of Beach Fellowship's mission and message by providing direct administrative support to the Pastoral Staff and lay leaders.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop, manage and maintain administrative support for the Pastoral Staff while working closely with Elders, Deacons, Ministry Leaders and Lay Leaders.
Manage weekly bulletin production, bulletin inserts, weekly announcements and special event promotions.
Manage scheduling of facilities for weddings and funerals and coordinating the process and activities for these events.
Coordinate the Master Church Calendar of events
Maintain Church Membership database and record keeping
Manage vendor and contract procurement and ongoing relationships pertaining to office administration and office equipment
Manage and maintain supply inventory and procedures for ordering supplies for office and ministry needs
Manage and maintain primary office systems and equipment including phones and voice mail systems, postage equipment, printing and copy equipment including maintenance and repair when necessary.
 

Qualifications:

Competencies: Display a lifestyle that provides evidence of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ Energetic, self-motivated and able to communicate effectively internally and externally Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining an acceptable level of excellence in production quality Display a working knowledge of various computer programs and databases: i.e. Microsoft Office 365, CRM Databases, website & social media integration, Adobe Suite Ability to work with other team members where responsibilities overlap to gain efficiencies in processes and solutions for all concerned individuals and ministries. Ability to establish and maintain a peaceful and harmonious working environment Display an ability to maximize efforts and gain efficiencies over multiple areas or responsibility Must be able to type a minimum of 65 wpm Minimum of 2-year college or advanced degree 2-5 years verifiable relevant work experience required
