Job Description:
River of Life is looking for an energetic, inspirational, youth pastor that is capable of immediately stepping into a very special and unique opportunity! Our youth pastor will have a love for the Savior and will want to spread the Gospel message to the world. Relationship with youth must be important, while understanding we have a large_noemailmunity wide youth group. This is not just a church youth group. Our youth facility is offsite and located on the "main street" of our town. The Youth Pastor must be involved in the_noemailmunity, local schools, and in our church integrating youth and volunteers at every opportunity. Must have "SOME" musical ability to lead worship, play an instrument (guitar or piano) and conduct youth worship services in a contemporary setting for today's youth! Must be creative, and have a vision for the youth of the_noemailmunity in a facility that is offsite from the church campus. Must write own sermons and engage in age appropriate illustrations, drama, video clips, and other creative means to keep the focus of youth on Christ and the reason for being at the AMP. Must be likeable, relational and friendly in order to be the example of the love of God.
Must be able to lead 10-12 volunteers in the weekly services. Our youth facility is called "THE AMP" and is well known to all youth in the_noemailmunity of Wellington, CO. and the extended northern Colorado_noemailmunity. Approximately 110 youth attend the AMP weekly in 2 services (65-80 middle school / 35-40 high school). We teach them the power in the Word of God, and His Spirit indwelling their spirit. We give them the tools and equipment to succeed in their Christian walk. This is not a youth group made up of only our church youth but of the_noemailmunity. Many of the youth attend other churches or no church. So we have work to do to integrate those that do not attend church into River of Life.

Qualifications:
1-2 years experience in current full-time youth ministry. However, we are willing to train the "RIGHT" person even if you are just graduating from a recognizable Bible School.
Must be willing to learn or be able to create video clips and edit film, create drama / skits
(on MAC computer), and personally develop messages that apply to our culture and community in Wellington, CO. Must be able to sing, play an instrument, and lead worship / musically for youth and adults on occasion. A married couple is highly preferred with both husband and wife involved in the ministry. Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
