Director of Children/Family Ministries Job - Haddonfield UMC, Haddonfield, New Jersey

The Director of Children/Family Ministries is a vital role for inspiring, connecting and empowering people to grow and live out their faith. The primary functions of this position are to coordinate and oversee our weekly children's Sunday school program in a way that provides hospitality, a sense of_noemailmunity and a deep faith experience for new people as well as the existing congregation.

This position is also responsible for developing and coordinating monthly family activities such as Advent workshop, Easter egg hunt, Vacation Bible School (VBS) and other events that are an outreach to the_noemailmunity, drawing in and connecting new families to the congregation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate weekly Sunday School program, including recruitment and scheduling of teachers and substitutes
Supervise and coordinate paid childcare for Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programs
Select appropriate curriculum for Sunday school and VBS in collaboration with the Christian Education Committee
Maintain confidential records on each child, including identifying special needs information
Ensure_noemailpliance of all child care staff and volunteers with HUMC Safe Sanctuaries Policy
Collaborate with laity to plan and coordinate seasonal events and other family activities
