ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the facilitation of spiritual life programs for the UMFS Treatment Center (UTC).
Facilitate faith based specialized groups and manage church relationships with cottages. Coordinate special events/programs on and off campus.
Provide pastoral care for UTC youth, create plan and/or implement weekly spiritual life activities and coordinate places of weekly worship.
Coordinate pastoral care and spiritual life programming for Guardian Place residents.
Support UTC and Guardian Place volunteer programs.
Develop intergenerational programs, activities, and spiritual life between UMFS and Guardian Place.
Assist with the development of_noemailmunication pieces for web, brochures and e-mail for agency and church affiliations.
Partner with United Methodist and other denominations regarding_noemailmittees, training events or initiatives that impact children, families, and_noemailmunities.
Assist with church offering and other fundraising initiatives associated with United Methodist and other faith_noemailmunities.
Assist with individual/group tours of the campus.
Assist with specialized training events for district and local conferences that are related to youth and families.
Coordinate Speakers Network for faith based_noemailanizations and serve as speaker.
Assist with_noemailanizing Christmas gifts for Intensive Treatment Centers.
Serve as the staff liaison with the Child Advisory Council and Women's Auxiliary.
Serve as the Agency's spiritual leader by providing staff chapel and spiritual assistance particularly during times of_noemailmunity or staff crisis.
All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
May supervise volunteers by coordination with program staff.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Master's degree in Divinity (M.Div.) with minimum of two years related experience. Experience working with a service population with mental health issues.
