Job Description:

The mission of St. Michael Lutheran Church is to "Connect people to the Living God." This new position on our staff is entrusted with the front end of that mission, by being responsible for leading evangelism and marketing efforts in our_noemailmunity, all first impression ministries to we_noemaile visitors on site, and ministries such as small groups, the new member process, and the equipping ministry to involve people into the life of the congregation.

The pastor in this position will also be part of our preaching team.

St. Michael is a large, evangelical congregation in an outer-ring suburb of Detroit. Our congregation is multi-generational, growing, and alive with God's Spirit. This is a gracious congregation, not afraid to innovate, while being faithful to our Lord in many ways including three worship services of varying styles.

The ideal candidate will love Jesus, have a passion for reaching lost people, possess excellent_noemailmunication skills including in areas of social media, and possess an MDiv degree or be in the process of earning that degree. Experience would be a plus.
