JOB TITLE; Worship Pastor

JOB SUMMARY: Orchard Grove Community Church in Walled Lake, Michigan, is seeking a talented, high-energy, spiritually driven individual to fill the full-time position of Worship Pastor. This position is responsible for developing,_noemailanizing and planning all music programs in worship services and special events, as well as leading and directing all supportive creative arts projects and production teams. Duties include: utilizing musical talents of current music team, incorporating musical talents of those within and outside the congregation, coordinating worship plans with the senior pastor, directing the entire worship experience (including music, vocals, creative support and production), and recruiting talented musicians/vocalists as needed to strengthen the weekly worship services. Additional duties involve: maintaining/updating inventory of instruments and technical equipment, blending genres from contemporary to classic, and leading music team in performing vocals and instrumentals.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, lead music ministry for two weekly Sunday worship services
Direct music ministry for all special services and mid-week services
Conduct weekly rehearsal sessions for musicians, vocalists, and production
Plan and_noemailanize music to support pastor's worship messages
Serve as member of senior pastor's executive team
Embrace and support church mission & goals as active member
Develop annual worship budget; take responsibility for hitting targets
Interact positively with church staff & collaborate to achieve team goals
Develop creative projects and worship experiences to support church vision
Recruit and train individuals to establish quality worship and production teams
