Job Description:

Purpose:
The purpose of this position is to lead and foster the spiritual development of children of Glendale Christian Church. Create and facilitate a_noemailprehensive, innovative, Bible-based ministry for elementary children from kindergarten through fifth grade.

Role and Responsibility:
Create a fun and safe environment, interactive, innovative, and age-appropriate activities for elementary children to develop a relationship with Jesus Christ, such as bible camp, service projects, VBS, etc...
Communicate concisely and effectively with families of elementary children.
Create and develop a Social Media presence that is Christ-centered and educational.
Collaborate in the coordination of church-wide events.
Establish teams of people who are trained to aid people in discovering their Best Next Step.
All other duties/tasks/responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications and Education/Experience Requirements:
A fully devoted follower of Jesus and_noemailmitted to a Christ-centered lifestyle of discipleship.
Member of Glendale, fulfilling the_noemailmitment to follow Jesus as personal Lord and Savior.
Passionate about children's ministry.
Able to_noemailmunicate the Gospel to children.
Able to identify, recruit, equip, train, and lead servants to excel in ministry roles/responsibilities.
Relate_noemailfortably with people of all ages.
Possess effective_noemailmunication skills including oral, written, electronic, and listening.
Work well both independently and with a team.
College education.
Experience leading youth and children.
