Position Summary:
The Technical Ministries Director is a leadership position that involves full knowledge and responsibility for the overall production, coordination, management, development and supervision of all Technical Ministries related needs of First Baptist Church Zachary, Louisiana (FBCZ).
Principal Responsibilities:
Manages and schedules all Technical Ministries staff and team members.
Supervise and schedule all related Technical Ministry needs of FBCZ.
Manage production contract workers as needed.
Responsible for all technical operations including system design, integration, upgrade, purchase and maintenance of all AVL systems at FBCZ.
Coordinate and fulfill all Technical Ministry elements needed for weekend services.
Oversight of video production and editing. Create a system to receive a manageable number of requests from ministries for video production.
Oversight of live streaming on all platforms and archiving to website.
Produce service DVD's as needed.
Oversight and coordination of Technical Ministries support for special events, weddings, funerals, etc.
Responsible for design, purchase and build out of all portable systems for FBCZ.
Great with people and great at building teams. Someone who can develop, train, recruit and find the right people in the area of Technical Ministries.
While expertise in audio, lighting, and video is a must for this position, the emphasis is on empowering others to develop their skills, not doing everything yourself. The Technical Director should fully staff the needed positions and then be prepared to fill in, train, and troubleshoot when necessary.
Keep current with trends in all areas of Technical Ministries.
Develop and maintain budget and expenses for the entire Technical Ministries Department.
Serve all of the ministries of FBCZ in a_noemailmodating the Technical Ministry needs of each department.
A servant leader who will shepherd and develop those who serve on the teams.
Oversight of general IT needs.

Aviom personal monitoring systems

Digital Performer, Ableton Live, and ProPresenter
Chamsys and ETC lighting
Lighting Networks (ETCNet, Pathport, Ar_noemail).
Final Cut Pro X, Motion, Compressor OR similar Adobe video solutions
Apple and PC_noemailputing systems
Salary based on experience.
