From our perspective, this is a great opportunity for a young pastor. Here is why...
1. The church - Burning Hearts Community Church - is a healthy and happy congregation of around 90 attenders of mixed ages located in beautiful and historic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Those few points alone should pique nearly anyone's interest.
2. The church is just over 10 years old and well_noemailanized (501c3, constitution, by-laws, Sunday School teachers in place, working nursery, men's and women's ministries operational, rotating praise teams, modern facilities, good sound equipment, website and streaming in place, good location and signage) with a good reputation in the_noemailmunity.
3. The church is desirous of establishing a relationship with its next pastor early on...before he would actually begin. The current pastor, age 68, is purposely stepping down by the end of 2022 so as to allow the new pastor to_noemaile in. The current pastor will then be leaving town for over 6 months but then returning as a member and an aid to the younger pastor (as involved or uninvolved as the new pastor desires).
4. Though unaffiliated, the bent of the church has been towards a Reformed Baptist (think of John Bunyan or Charles Spurgeon) leaning - the leaning of the current pastor. It would be our desire to maintain that "bent."
5. The salary is flexible, but would also include health insurance coverage, mileage reimbursement and paid vacations.

About Burning Hearts Community Church:
Beyond what was already written, we see the new pastor as leading the way for many years to come. We currently rent our facility space (7,000 sq.ft. warehouse space that has been renovated to fit out needs) and though it works for us at this point we anticipate either expanding the space or finding a different facility in the next number of years..
