Our church is a unique movement that holds God’s Word in the highest regard, while pushing forward with new ideas and methods of evangelism and service. We see one of those bigger plans as God impacting countless students, and their families, through us. We are prayerfully looking for a wisdom-filled pastor to take the lead in our Senior High and Young Adult Ministries.
We’d like you to lead our Senior High Ministry while overseeing the team that leads our Young Adults ministry.
Today’s students swim in a sea of postmodern, relativistic, hyper-sexualized brokenness. They face greater pressures than ever before. Many live in tough families and suffer broken hearts and don’t know where to turn.
We hope they can turn to Jesus Christ through you and through the people of our church. We hope they can be saved, rooted and grounded in Scripture, and prepared to be Daniels and Esthers in an increasingly pagan world through your character and influence.

If you have significant experience as a pastor in a medium (300 person) or larger church, we’d like to hear from you. Pre-Covid our church was around 3,000 people, so thanks, but this is not a position for someone just starting out.
If you dream to be on the front lines of participating with God as he rebuilds the youth and student culture in entire region, we want to hear from you.
If you’re the kind of leader who makes big things happen and has a bigger gas pedal than brake pedal, we’d be honored to hear from you.
If you have a passion that lost students be saved and that saved students be sanctified, we’d love to hear from you.
If you’re called to preach from the pulpit on occasion, and if you’d like to be mentored and prepared for perhaps an adult ministries roles 4-6 years from now, we’d love to hear from you (for example senior pastor, small groups, pastor, etc.).
Pathway Church is a member of A.W. Tozer’s denomination, the Christian and Missionary Alliance. We are overseen by elders and are staff driven. Pre-covid, about 3,000 people attended on weekends. By God’s grace we’re quickly returning to those numbers.
We have not slowed down. We have not coasted during this time. We have found wildly creative ways to keep the mission moving forward. It’s time for us to expand our team and to broaden our reach. Can you help us do that?
Our location in Redding, CA is surrounded by three National Forests with three mountain ranges pressed up against us. You can snowboard on Mount Shasta in late spring and water ski on Lake Shasta on the same day. Beauty surrounds us everyday, not to mention we have amazing fishing spots on lakes, rivers, ponds and streams. Within 30 to 40 minutes you can be lost in the tall trees of Northern California for a day hike or spend a weekend camping or hunting with family and friends. Redding is a great place to raise a family with strong schools and a great sense of_noemailmunity.
We are looking for a Student Ministries Pastor who can build a high-impact operation that keeps the gospel of grace and the Word of God central. A ministry that keeps parents in the loop and spiritual maturity on the radar.
We have an effective ministry already in place, but are you ready to design and create a holistic plan not only to minister to students, but also to collaborate in reaching our_noemailmunity for Christ through groups, programs and events.
