Job Description:
This position is a full time position with responsibilities in both worship ministry and media ministry.
WORSHIP
The main focus of the worship responsibilities is to plan, prepare, and lead weekly services and rehearsals for contemporary worship. Tasks include preparation of worship support materials, and scheduling worship team participants. The candidate must be personable and able to enlist, coordinate, supervise, and delegate tasks to volunteers according to individual giftedness, interests, and availability. Maintaining all musical instruments, music libraries, licensing/subscription services, and the music budget is also a requirement for this position. This position will coordinate with a part time classic (traditional) worship leader.
MEDIA
The candidate is tasked with engaging in an active social media presence on registered platforms and increasing the digital presence of the church. The individual must also maintain and update the website and phone app as needed including weekly worship service orders and sermon notes. Design and oversight of all digital and print media is the responsibility of the person filling this position. This includes recording, editing, and producing media material for church usage - worship and otherwise. The individual will also maintain media subscription services and the media budget.
