MEDIA SPECIALIST - JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Overview
The focus of this part-time position (15-20 hours/week) is to provide high quality media storytelling through video, as well as other graphic design and media products for various ministries of Hope Church. This position_noemailbines ministry and media as it seeks to help grow Hope's vision and mission through various media platforms. Superior interpersonal,_noemailanizational, written, and oral_noemailmunication skills are vital for this position. The ability to work reliably without close supervision, enjoy working as a team member, and have a desire to_noemailbine ministry and media is a must. Elements of the work schedule can be flexible.

Duties
Reports to the Worship Ministry Director.
Work closely with the Worship Ministry Director on specific media requests such as Gathering videos, social media, and printed materials (sermon series journals, posters, etc.) using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, and Illustrator). Special events and new sermon series are included.
Film all video projects. Editing skills preferred.
Develop and maintain all social media_noemailmunication.
Maintain brand consistency for all media, print and video production.
Proofread various materials as needed to ensure they are clear and consistent,_noemailplete, accurate, and grammatically correct.
Create weekly pre/post-service slides.
Sunday filming duties once a month for ministry videos.
Occasional evening and weekend on-call duties for filming and other media needs.

Understand the Hope Church_noemailanizational structure, your place within it, and your responsibilities to the Worship Ministry Director as your manager, the rest of Hope's Leadership (including Lead Team and Elders) and the remainder of the staff team.
