Student Pastor/Director Job - SouthCrest Church, Lagrange, GA, Georgia

Student Pastor/Director
(Dependent upon the individual candidate's experience and schooling, the position will be established as a pastor or director once there is an offer of employment.)

Students:
Grow the ministries spiritually and numerically.
Responsible for production of all Wednesday night student environments.
Follow up and assimilation of new families.
Responsible for decision counseling and baptism follow up.
Play an active role in student's lives. (Sporting Events, Concerts, Hospital Visits, School Lunches, etc.)

Volunteers:
Interview, recruit, and coach new student volunteers.
Regular_noemailmunication and training with all volunteers.
Annual background checks on all volunteers.
Ensure all volunteers feel valued and appreciated.

Parents:
Love on parents and families, not just the students.
Communicate to parents on u_noemailing events and necessary information on a regular basis.
Meet with parents to listen and identify potential group and individual needs, and to gauge how students/parents are responding to the ministry.
Resourcing parents on major life events (salvation, baptism, entering middle school and high school, what to look for in colleges, career guidance)
