Job description
General Overview
Serves under the Senior Pastor to provide leadership in the areas of Youth Ministry, Small Group Ministry and Connecting Ministry.
Responsibilities
Youth Ministry: 50% Time
Train & develop adult and student leaders
Individual discipleship/relationship building
Lead weekly youth nights
Plan/attend quarterly and annual events
Small Group: 25% Time
Develop/approve material for small groups
Train & develop Small Group Leaders
Coordinate & Maintain Small Group Schedule
Meet monthly with Small Group Leaders
Connecting Ministry: 15% Time
Models a we_noemailing friendly spirit toward visitors
Develop and maintain new attender packets
Develop a process for connecting new attenders
Recruit and train volunteers and maintain schedule for greeting ministry
Oversee we_noemaile center
Pastoral Support: 10% Time
Attend regular staff meetings
Preach approximately 8 times per year
Assist with all aspects of Sunday services
Assist with hospital visits
Other duties as assigned by Lead Pastor
Qualifications
A Bible College degree or in progress preferred.
Demonstrate a call to vocational ministry.
Be a covenant signer of New Hope Church (or b_noemaile one).
Work towards Accreditation and Ordination with the Christian and Missionary Alliance.
Maintain an authentic and growing walk with Jesus Christ.
Model servant leadership.
Commitment to moral purity.
Excellent_noemailmunication and interpersonal skills.
Competency in_noemailputer skills such as Word, Excel, Email and Inte_noemail.
Abilities
Identify relevant issues for youth and small groups.
Train and recruit leaders for ministry.
Have a gospel centered ministry and focus.
Plan and prioritize work to meet job requirements.
Navigate conversations and situations in a way that keeps you above reproach.
Maintain a budget for ministry area responsibilities.
Compensation
Annual Salary $45-$50K_noemailmensurate with education and experience.
Optional retirement match up to three percent of annual salary.

New Hope Church is a healthy growing church. We have seen God moving in some exciting ways over the last year. We have 100-120 people in attendance on Sundays. Our current youth group is 15-20 kids. New Hope is a we_noemailing church that loves people well. We excel in hospitality, and being real. We are located in Lebanon Oregon. Lebanon is a small town in the Willamette Valley with a population of about 18,000. We are about an hour and a half from the Oregon coast, and an even shorter drive to the Cascade Mountains.
