Audio Technician Job - Grace Community Church, Arlington , Virginia

Grace Community Church is seeking a part-time Audio Technician to work with the Director of Service Programming to create consistent and excellent audio for church services. Grace, a church for people who don't go to church, is currently meeting at TJ Middle School but is moving into a new facility inside Ballston Quarter (Arlington) this February.

Responsibilities
Oversee set up, tear down, and audio mix for Sunday morning church services
Schedule, train, and develop volunteers to run audio
Edit and post the weekly podcast and website audio
Maintain and repair all audio-related equipment
Mix and master audio for online recordings
Attend weekly service planning meetings (Zoom or in-person)
Attend weekly music team rehearsals

Hours and Compensation
10 to 20 hours per week, depending on interest and availability
$24 to $30 per hour, depending on experience

Experience mixing audio for live events and studio recordings
Ability to develop and encourage volunteers
Professional presence and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to troubleshoot problems calmly and decisively
Flexible and able to adapt to changes with a positive attitude
