JOB DESCRIPTION:
First Assembly of God Port Jervis is seeking a full-time Worship Pastor. This position will be full-time (40+ hours per week), with a salary and benefits package included. WORSHIP MINISTRY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead worship weekly
Maintain regular office hours in cooperation with pastoral staff.
Attend staff meetings.
Attend general leadership meetings.
Lead worship planning meetings with worship team and production team.
Develop and manage annual worship goals as well as worship/music budget.
Quarterly progress reports.
Manage schedules for the worship team and oversee the production team.
Maintain a music library for vocalists and musicians.
Lead rehearsals, be the point person for the band/musicians on Sundays, and for musical preparation during the week
Meet with individual musicians and vocalists during the week as needed for instruction or practice
Manage Planning Center organization, and weekly scheduling of songs, musicians, and service elements
Plan and coordinate ministry vision and direction
Assist in planning special events (Good Friday, Easter, Worship nights, Christmas etc.)
Weekly creative meeting to discuss future planning of projects
Assist in stage design
Manage the cleanliness of the church’s jointly used spaces such as the green room and altar
Recruit and manage volunteers
Provide Support for Student Ministry Worship Team
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
College Degree (or nearing completion)
Ministry minded
Alignment with vision, mission, and values of our church
Humble, teachable, authentic, responsible, and optimistic.
Self-driven, highly motivated
Ability to work and collaborate openly with other team members
Experience on keys, guitar, and/or other instruments.
Proficient singing ability.
Knowledge and/or willing to learn Planning Center, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Pro-Presenter.
Five years of related ministry experience preferred.

Initial annual salary between $34,000 - $36,600 (Depending on experience)
Church parsonage + paid utilities (house is a four bedroom + two bathroom)
Health insurance through the New York State Health Marketplace (Will be provided as a family)
