Job Description:
This position provides you the opportunity to further mission of developing disciples and deploying them for mission by investing in the middle school and high school student ministry. This is an opportunity to work alongside the pastors to lead and leverage the people of God at Central to fulfill the mission God has designed for them.
Responsibilities:
Lead Wednesday night activities which include planning and preparing teaching series for the students.
Oversee and/or direct Sunday morning Sunday school for students.
Work with lead pastors to create a student ministry in connection with the overall vision of the church.
Lead students and adult volunteers to summer camp.
Recruit and develop a team of adult leaders.
Meet weekly with lead pastors to keep communication fresh and information relevant on the needs and activities of the student ministry.
Create a discipleship plan for the student ministry.
Plan and carry out fund raisers for summer camp.
Agrees with the beliefs of CBC ·
A desire to work with students and lead them into a deeper understanding of God's Word ·
A humble and teachable spirit that is willing to work with others and follow the vision of the lead pastors.
Dependable and possess a good work ethic.
Is an emotionally and spiritually mature follower of Jesus.
