Job Description:
Seeking a vibrant, doctrinally sound Pastor for a thriving church family of believers, who is committed to and responsible for the spiritual leadership of our church. Looking for someone who leads worship services and is willing to educate through God's Holy Word; establishing and communicating a Jesus Christ centered vision for the church, who has a heart for evangelism, helping to increase ministries and community outreach.
DUTIES:
Overseeing and mentoring leadership within the church family
Representing our church in community outreach activities and charitable events
Organizing weekly services and delivering Biblically-based messages
Able to communicate with members of the congregation and provide spiritual guidance, including pastoral care for nursing home residents.
Contribute to the monthly church newsletter and maintain the church social media presence
Provide spiritual support of all youth ministry endeavors.
Maintain consistent office hours

We are an Independent Christian Church, which answers only to the Lord and to the local congregation. We believe in cooperating with other local churches in doing the work of God in the community. Our Sunday morning attendance is between 55-70 believers. We have no creed except faith in Jesus Christ, God's Son and man's Savior. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three distinct Persons, Who exist in unity: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Job Qualifications:
A born again believer in Jesus Christ with beliefs centered on God's Holy Word.
Holds to the standards required in 1 Timothy 3:1-2 and Titus 1:6-9.
Committed to the terms of salvation outlined in Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 2:38, Matthew 16:16
and Romans 10:9.
Able to administer baptism, the Lord's Supper, marriages, funerals, baby dedications, etc.
Two-three years of Senior Pastoral experience
4 year degree from an accredited Bible College prefered; 2-3 year degree considered.
If hired, must complete and pass a Criminal Background Check.
Must possess a clean driving record
