Youth Pastor
Job Description:
Harvest Chapel is looking for a full-time youth pastor to lead our ministry efforts with students in 6-12th grade. Currently, this includes leading our Wednesday night youth group which averages from 100-140 students weekly and has immense potential for growth. It also includes our Sunday morning middle school programming which averages 70-90 6th-8th graders. Additionally, it includes leading a growing team of 30+ high-functioning volunteers. There is the opportunity to do regular teaching and events for both disciplining students and growing the influence of the student ministry in our_noemailmunity.
The Youth Pastor is also a part of the larger pastoral team and works in conjunction with the rest of the staff. Our work is fast-paced, and if there is a need to change strategies in any area, we pivot quickly.
Staff members are expected to maintain good_noemailmunication among the team, to be hungry learners, to steward their time and calendar well, to receive feedback well, to constantly evaluate what could be better, to have soft hearts and thick skin, and to be a cheerleader for others.
