Were looking for an energetic individual with a passion for creating worship experiences that challenge, encourage, and inspire people to take their next steps toward Jesus or in their relationship with Him. This person must possess musical and vocal talent, be technically-minded and provide leadership to recruit and equip volunteer teams. This person will work closely with the Creative Arts Director in creating and producing media for our services, website and local cable television station.
The Church:
Cornerstone Fellowship is a growing non-denominational church in Northeast Oklahoma that strives to create environments that are conducive to changing peoples lives. We are known in our_noemailmunity for strong biblical teaching, top-notch children and student ministries and excellence in ministry. We have our own local cable television station and use drama, media and music to help people connect to the message of the gospel. Our Sunday service consists of approximately 15 minutes of worship and a 30-40 minute teaching time. Our Wednesday service includes a 10 minute worship time and a 45 minute in-depth bible study. We want to create a worship experience similar to the musical styles of Tomlin/Crowder/Hillsong United, etc.
Qualifications:
Proven ability and experience in engaging the congregation in authentic, passionate worship experiences.
Strong stage presence and vocal skills.
Proficient in playing piano or guitar.
Experience recruiting, training and developing volunteer teams of musicians and worship team members (vocalists, media and creative teams).
Working knowledge/experience in multi-media (A/V technologies, video editing, lighting, etc.).
Responsibilities:
Prepare and lead worship teams for Sunday and Wednesday services.
Schedule and conduct weekly worship team rehearsals.
Prepare chord charts, copies for songs, and miscellaneous equipment setup for rehearsals and services.
Recruit, train and develop new worship leaders, vocalists, musicians and other creative team members.
Assist Creative Arts Director in managing primary church information systems including the website,_noemailwork, etc.
Assist with weddings, funerals, and other typical pastoral duties as needed.
Compensation:
Salary will be based on current wage scales for similar positions in similar size churches.
Three weeks paid vacation.
Contributions to retirement will be matched 100% up to 6% of salary.
