We are looking for a Office Manager to assist in the efficient operations of a busy NYC parish. Under the direct supervision of the Pastor, this position will play a significant role in the efficient stewardship of the personnel, financial, and physical resources of the parish. The qualified person should be_noemailmitted to the priorities and values of the Church and envision the position as a ministry which serves our_noemailmunity of faith.
Essential functions will include:
Perform regular accounting duties.
Prepare materials for budget process in_noemailpliance with Archdiocesan policies.
Oversee the cash flow management system.
Act as a liaison between parish and Archdiocese in financial matters.
Serves as resource to the Finance Committee.
Coordinate all parish fundraising and development programs.
Oversee accountability systems for the collection, counting and banking in_noemailpliance with Archdiocesan policies.
Supervise support staff and assist in the development of personnel policies; including the implementation of a performance evaluation process.
Oversee the management of all parish records.
Supervise all aspects of facilities management; including review of bids and vendor contracts, property maintenance and security, the coordination of all hospitality events, and rental of rooms.
Special duties as needed under the direct supervision of the Pastor.
Qualified candidates must have a strong sense of_noemailmunity and have the following:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
8-10 years office management experience
Proficiency in various_noemailputer software application
Excellent interpersonal_noemailmunication skills
Excellent_noemailanization skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize in busy environment.
