This person shall have a mature and growing, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This person shall develop discipleship ministries at Crossroads. A seminary degree focusing in Christian Education is preferable, but direct experience in managing discipleship ministries is valued. To this end a Discipleship pastor should be credentialed (or prepare to be credentialed) as a deacon/local pastor in The United Methodist Church.
Applicants should send a letter of introduction, resume with educational and ministry experience highlighted, and three professional references of whom at least two shall be ordained clergy.
