Special Events Coordinator

Growing 2300 member Bible teaching, non-denominational church in Cleveland Heights, Ohio is searching for a Special Events Coordinator. The role reports to the Director of Special Events. The Special Events Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Director of Special Events in researching, designing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating key church events. The ideal candidate is an energetic, creative leader with a strong work ethic, strong verbal and written_noemailmunication skills, is detail oriented and likes working with people. Experience in event planning, marketing, or public relations is highly preferable. A bachelor's degree is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have served in a church environment, have a minimum of 1 year graphic desighn experience or significant undergraduate level training. She (He) will possess an excellent_noemailmand of the English language and is able to_noemailmunicate clearly and concisely with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.

The candidate will possess a servant's heart and team spirit. Initiative, endurance and follow-through are also ideal character traits. She (He) would ideally have a true heart for God and God's people.

About Our Church

New Community Bible Fellowship is a non-denominational, Bible teaching, Christ-centered church located in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. We strive to live what we believe are the six key purposes of a healthy church: 1) to disciple members in understanding and living the Bible, 2) to be a people of prayer, 3) to worship the Lord in Spirit and truth, 4) to be a witness of the gospel of Jesus Christ to the world, 5) to serve according to our Spiritual gifts, and 6) to love and encourage one another in the Body of Christ. New Community is a church plant, started sixteen years ago in 1994 by our Sr. Pastor Kevin James.
