To provide spiritual, administrative, and_noemailanizational leadership to the churchˇ¦s ministry with children and their families, aligning with the Family Ministry guiding principle of L.I.F.E.R.S. (Creating LIFE-LONG disciples, INTENTIONAL planning, FAMILY centered, EQUIPPING children and families, forming and facilitating meaningful RELATIONSHIPS, and SERVICE.)
Through the Associate Pastor for Youth and Family Ministry to the Head of Staff, and through the PMT, to the Session.
„h have a Baccalaureate degree
„h have experience working with children
„h show evidence of personal maturity and possess a strong Biblical Christ-centered faith.
„h Be_noemailmitted to the Reformed expression of the Christian faith
„h show leadership and financial management ability
„h be a visionary, with equipping/mentoring skills
Time Commitment ˇV
40 hours a week. This is a salaried position, with_noemailpensation determined by Session, four weeks vacation, and two weeks annual study leave. Benefits are included.
Responsible for all Childrenˇ¦s Ministries programming and events
Which include, but not limited to: staffing, volunteers, curriculum and supplies, budget,_noemailmunication and promotion
Training and equipping of parents, staff, teachers, and ministry leaders
Developing relationships with children, their families, and the church family
Continuing to articulate and advocate for children and families within the context of Columbia Churchˇ¦s vision
Participating in and planning for regular meetings with staff, church leadership, Childrenˇ¦s and Family ministryˇ¦s teams
