Christ Church, Easton, Maryland is seeking its next Family and Youth Minister to build on a foundation of a solid program and take it to the next stage.
This Family and Youth Minister will be responsible for the leadership and management of all aspects of the development and growth of the family and youth ministry of the church.
Oversight of the Sunday morning Christian education programming for children from nursery (Nursery is professionally staffed) through the middle school (A part time Program Assistant will be available to assist with Sundays).
Developing relevent youth ministries for families of children and middle schoolers.
A strong desire of the congregation is to have a substantial family-oriented and focused program for the purpose of evangelism. The position being offered is for a Episcopal priest who has gifts and energy in the area of church growth, family ministry, and building the relevent church_noemailmunity of the next generation.

We want a person called to grow with us. Currently we worship on a weekly average about 340 people over four services - one on Saturday evenings, and three on Sundays.

You must have a strong and vibrant Christian faith, an ability to plan and follow through, the motivation to strive for great things and the determination to achieve them. We are seeking a person capable of celebrating the sacraments in an Episcopal Church with conviction. You must be orthodox in theology, spiritual in practice, faithful in bearing and relentlessly forward looking. We are not Biblical literalists; but we do hold and teach the Holy Scriptures as the foundation of our faith.
