A positive attitude, love for kids,_noemailmitment to Christ, good people skills and strong administrative skills are a must.
We are looking for someone who can develop effective lines of_noemailmunication with both parents and volunteers;
recruit, train, motivate and encourage volunteers;
implement safety standards;
work with curriculum that teaches God's Word in fun and engaging ways and that will keep children interested in the things of God and involved in church.
He or she must have a value for teamwork and delegation;
be able to plan and implement schedules and activities which will correspond with the overall church direction;
provide family activities and/or a Vacation Bible School during the summer;
be able to implement a leadership development process for all volunteers;
support and nurture those who serve in the Children's Ministry, encouraging their spiritual growth and involvement in the life of the church..
The right applicant will be willing and able to work within a variety of settings and circumstances, with_noemailposure and flexibility; be a self-starter, good at multi-tasking, administrating and prioritizing projects; and be_noemailmitted to his or her own personal spiritual development through Bible reading, prayer, and Christian_noemailmunity.
Work hours have some flexibility but availability on Sundays is a must.
