The Communications Director at The Church at LifePark will be responsible for providing leadership, vision, and tactical support in the development and implementation of all aspects of_noemailmunications at LifePark. The goal of the Communications Director role is to support the teaching and discipleship ministries of LifePark by handling all core messaging inside the church with excellence in both content and presentation. Serving as a champion of the vision of LifePark and as a brand advocate, the Communications Director plays a key role in how the vision and culture of LifePark are_noemailmunicated across different mediums. This person will oversee anything people "read, touch or click". The Communications Director will create,_noemailanize, plan and implement effective_noemailmunications messages and strategies to church and_noemailmunity audiences. The individual will support church and ministry leaders in conveying their vision and_noemailmunication priorities to appropriate audiences. Successful church_noemailmunicators are passionate about the church's vision and care about how It translates to people inside and outside of the church, always seeking to create channels of_noemailmunication to connect people to the church and help them take their next steps towards Christ.
The Communications Director is responsible for:
A. Brand Development and Management: Articulate the identity, culture, and vision of LifePark clearly and develop brand standards to create consistency across all church initiatives and ministries. Empower ministry leaders with branding guidelines, and serve as the brand manager for LifePark to ensure consistency across channels;
B. Strategic Planning and Systems Development: Assess current_noemailmunication efforts and then develop and implement an effective and sustainable_noemailmunications strategy for LifePark;
C. Content and Collateral Creation: Serve as a content creator, project manager, and content coordinator for all print and web_noemailmunications and brand-related initiatives. Collaborate with Creative Director to maintain consistency across series promotions, design projects, and all materials representing LifePark;
D. Maintenance of Web Presence: Proactively work to ensure that LifePark maintains an effective, current presence on the web; additionally, build followings and manage ongoing messaging and_noemailmunication strategies on social media outlets;
E. Internal Communications: Develop and implement effective internal_noemailmunications to LifePark congregation through effective use of email campaigns, bulletins, and other applicable channels;
F. External Communications and Media Relations: Develop and implement effective
external_noemailmunication strategies to our_noemailmunity, and perspective guests through effective use of advertising and promotional initiatives, web, and other applicable channels. Additionally, oversee efforts related to securing or responding to rnedia attention, and develop policy and procedures related to media relations;
G. Managing The Budget: Manage the approved budget within approved guidelines;
H. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Develop volunteer teams deemed necessary to accornplish_noemailmunications goals; Enlist, equip and encourage qualified volunteers such as artists, designers, photographers and writers;
I. Other Duties: Work with your supervisor to collaborate on other ministry plans as needed and provide input and direction as a member of the core team.
The Communications Director reports to the Church Administrator.
