Job Description:

Music Director – The Gathering Church
12hrs/week reporting to Lead Pastor, Mark Acuff. www.allgather_noemail
Responsibilities:
* Lead all music activity
* Recruit, train back-up worship leader and volunteers
* Manage sound system
* Build song repository, technical documentation
* Use music for_noemailmunity connection,outreach
* Incorporate traditional hymns and contemporary music
* Periodically schedule guest artists of varying styles
* Teach new songs to congregation
* Special events


Qualifications:
* Passion for expression of God's glory through music
* Christ Centered, Spirit-empowered
* Personal, growing relationship with Christ
* Adhere to and accept Gathering Church statement of faith
* Loves others
* Excellent musician, possesses understanding of music theory, ability to sing and lead
* Worship leader, collaborative planner
* Experience in various music, worship styles
* Ability to create vibrant relational_noemailmunity culture of the Gathering Church
* Works well with diverse age groups & music talent
* Music degree or equivalent professional experience
