Who we are:
St. Paul Fellowship is a 14-year-old, non-denominational, evangelical congregation with about 150 attenders located in a diverse neighborhood of St. Paul, Minnesota. We are associated with the Alliance For Renewal churches (ARC)
We are seeking:
A senior pastor to lead us into the next phase of our growth, focused on effective outreach to our diverse neighborhood.
The senior pastor in St. Paul Fellowship serves as the lead Elder on a collegial team of Elders who pastor and govern the church. The senior pastor will have primary responsibility for preaching, pastoral care, and outreach. It is also his responsibility to ensure that the Elders work together as a team, and to take the lead in setting, articulating, and executing a Spirit-led vision for the church. The senior pastor’s secondary responsibility is to oversee the development of the church’s worship, discipleship, and administrative functions, and to ensure that these are integrated with each other, and with the primary functions that he directly leads (preaching, pastoral care, and outreach).

Passionate and gifted to lead multicultural, Gospel-centered outreach in the Frogtown neighborhood of St. Paul.
Willing to invest more than 5 years at St. Paul Fellowship to build an effective, church-based outreach ministry in Frogtown.
Committed to the effective integration of Worship, Discipleship, and Outreach.
If married, demonstrates a healthy & humble rapport with his wife and children.
Well-versed in Scripture and able to preach the Bible effectively.
At least 3 years of relevant ministry experience demonstrating:
Ability to articulate a vision and carry it out.
Ability to mobilize volunteers into ministry.
Team-orientation and ability to work with, and submit to, a board.
Ability to manage people and functions.
Embraces and embodies the SPF Discipleship Document.
Embraces the Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Chalcedonian Creed.
Embraces a plural, collegial, male eldership.
Aligns with the SPF Vision Document and SPF Values Document.
Embraces the ARC Common Concerns and Common Understandings. (ARC refers to the Alliance for Renewal Churches, the_noemailwork of churches to which SPF belongs.
