Arizona Hills Community Church is an independent non-denominational church of 300 adults established in 1999 and operates on a $650K annual budget. Arizona Hills currently meets in the local high school's auditorium and owns their church office building. Staff currently consists of an Executive Pastor, Spiritual Formation Pastor, Worship Director, Youth Director and several part time positions. The Senior Pastor is an equal member of the Elder Board and has authority over staff and church operations consistent with the policies established by the board.
The Senior Pastor will clarify God's vision for the church,_noemailmunicate this vision to the body, and motivate the church to move together in a unified, aligned manner to a_noemailplish this vision. Our current Vision/Dream is Transformed People; Transformed Families; Transformed Community from the inside out through
a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
Place high priority on maintaining their own personal intimacy with God, such that the ‘business of ministry' is never at the expense of their own ongoing testimony of God's grace and love;
Have a clear spiritual calling to the role of Pastor/Shepard, meeting the biblical qualifications for eldership expressed in 1Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. They will be accessible and skilled in pastoral care in one to one and group settings. He will provide pastoral care through the most effective means possible.
They will highly value both strong biblical exposition as well as practical application in their teaching. They will have a passion and ability to make the truths of God's Word relevant to those exploring the faith, as well as challenging devoted followers of Jesus, leading people to experience and follow Jesus.

At a minimum, possess a Masters of Divinity (M. Div.) from an accredited seminary or divinity school, or an educational equivalent
They will be an experienced high capacity leader with a proven track record of vision casting, aligning vision with ministry, inspiring and developing others.
