Pastor/Director of Youth and Sports Ministry Job - The Bible Chapel, McMurray , Pennsylvania

Vision: The Pastor/Director of Youth and Sports Ministry will have the unique opportunity to care for, shepherd, lead, influence, teach and make known the gospel of Jesus Christ to those within our_noemailmunity. This will be done through traditional and non traditional forms of ministry.

Youth Ministry General Responsibilities:

Recruit, train,_noemailmunicate and encourage volunteers needed for Youth Ministry at the Campus
Build, train and schedule teaching team for Youth Ministry using curriculum provided by The Bible Chapel
Build Student Leadership Team in Sr. High and appropriately at Jr. High Level if needed
Seek opportunities to b_noemaile Involved with student's lives in school events, sports events as well as provide after school hours
Engage_noemailmunity leaders and b_noemaile an Ambassador for the Wilkinsburg Campus in the_noemailmunity
Identify local ministry opportunities in the_noemailmunity
Provide, warm, we_noemailing and safe environment by making sure all Youth Ministry Guidelines are being followed during Student Ministry gatherings
Coordinate involvement of Youth Ministry with all BIble Chapel church wide events
Coordinate and work with other Campus Youth Pastors/Directors as well as Campus Pastor

Sports Ministry General Responsibilities:

*Recruit, train,_noemailmunicate, schedule and encourage volunteers needed for Sports Ministry at the Campus (beginning with Upward Basketball)
*Ensure Sports Ministry guidelines are being followed by volunteers
*Coordinate with Pittsburgh Urban Christian School (PUCS) and work alongside PUCS leadership for use of gymnasium
*Properly store all items needed to run Sports Ministry at PUCS
*Advertise, recruit and register children/youth families for Sports Ministries
*Plan for future Youth Sports Ministry opportunities (Flag football, Soccer, Cheerleading)
*Plan for Adult Sports Ministry opportunities (men's/women's basketball, exercise classes, etc.)

Spiritual Gifts:
Administration, Faith, Leadership, Evangelism

Experience:
Bachelor's degree with formal theological training desired
Ministry Experience in an URBAN setting will be of benefit

Qualifications:
Follower of Jesus Christ who has conviction to share Jesus Christ with others
Disciple maker who has a passion for seeing youth/families_noemaile to know Jesus
Experience recognizing, mentoring and developing leaders
Agreement with The Bible Chapel Core Values and Beliefs

Time/Allocation:
Full Time, salaried position

Accountability:
The Director/Pastor of Youth and Sports works directly with the Wilkinsburg Campus Pastor and the Sports Ministry Director (South Hills Campus)

The Director/Pastor of Youth and Sports reports and works directly with Student Ministry Director (South Hills Campus)
