Director of Church Operations Job - Christ Church Port Orange, Port Orange, Florida

Summary
The Director of Operations has primary responsibility for the development, and implementation of the Operations ministry of the church. The Director of Operations serves as the primary point of contact for facilities, campus development, risk management, information technology, worship service operation, events, support teams and office management issues. The Operations Pastor/Director is a senior supervisory level position. As part of the Executive Team, the Operations Pastor/Director will work energetically to turn our vision into action; by helping us use our gifts and resources together as a well-coordinated, collaborative church. Working closely with the Lead Pastor, Business Director, Executive Teams and Elders, the Operations Pastor/Director will manage a team of staff and volunteer leaders and connect with all areas of operations thereby bringing increased focus, alignment and care to the cohesive management of the enterprise of ministry at Christ Church Port Orange.

Reporting:
This position reports directly to the Lead Pastor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Office Management - Oversee and coordinate day to day operations of the church. Proactively_noemailmunicate, support and fulfill the mission, vision, core values, purposes and goals of the church. Christ Church exists to be and b_noemaile disciples of Jesus who make disciples of Jesus. We see the church of Jesus as an Empowered Missional Community and our goal is to see our people implement their identity in Christ, engage in their specific and unique calling and mission field and create_noemailmunity as they grow in loving other in a Christ like way. Everything we do as church is aimed at bring this goal into reality.

Oversee the Creative Arts in cooperation with Worship Director and Technology Coordinator; service flow, connections with attendees, branding and overall_noemailmunication of CCPO vision and mission through Creative Arts.

Oversee Event Coordinator to assure all church wide events are intentional and relative to the growth and connection of the church body and in line with the mission and vision of the church.

Administer program events assuring safe processes are followed.

Manage, Create and Maintain Websites, App & Social Media profiles & data bases

Assist Lead Pastor with calendar management

Facility scheduling utilizing established ministry priorities.

Facilitate those who schedule use of rooms: determining room set-up and equipment (i.e. tables, chairs) needs, enforcing procedures for room use, etc. as needed.

Shepherd the growth of the Operations ministry through intentional recruitment, delegation, mentoring, and coaching. Strengthen_noemailmunication and collaboration among and between various ministries

Provide direct leadership to the Operations ministries as needed, support current leaders through administration and training, and mentoring their work as teams within the department.

Review all_noemailmunications related to the Operations ministries. Advertise staffing needs, volunteer opportunities, and special events.

Manages inventory and availability of office/building supplies and equipment.

Work with and for the Lead Pastor, Elders, Business Director and other Directors to determine strategies for facility or property expansion.

Participate in Committee meetings in cooperation with Lead Pastor and Elders.

Maintains a reliable data base of all volunteers, members, friends, and vendor relations that enable tracking of attendance, giving, service, and finances.

Work with the Lead Pastor and Facilities Coordinator to insure that the facilities and grounds are kept in "newness" condition through systems of cleaning, maintenance and improvements and ensure that a regular preventative maintenance program for facility and grounds is established and followed.

Assure the safety and environmental excellence of the facilities.
Establish procedures (i.e. forms) for maintenance requests in cooperation with the Facilities Coordinator.

Review vendor relationships for facility issues in cooperation with Facilities Coordinator in order to ensure good stewardship and changing needs.

Maintain files on all equipment with such information as user guides, warranty information, manual, purchase information, etc.
