Job Description:
Christ Way Church is seeking a full time Senior Pastor who is totally dedicated to faithfully
serving his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in leading and serving our congregation. We are seeking
a Pastor who will teach and preach the Word of God from the Bible without reservation, and
faithfully proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He must have a thorough knowledge of the scriptures and spend quality time in daily prayer
and bible study. We prefer a man who has attained a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited conservative Theological Seminary and has already had at least three years experience as Lead
Pastor of a church congregation.
At Christ Way Church he will be responsible for conducting Sunday morning worship services
and Wed. evening bible study, as well as overseeing Sunday School classes, youth classes,
outreach programs and all other church programs and activities. His duties will also
include visiting those in the congregation who are not able to attend services on a regular basis.
We are a non-denominational, evangelical, multicultural congregation of approximately 50 dedicated
members led by a board of elders.
In the late 1990's our congregation purchased a 10 acre plot of land in the suburbs of the city of
Greensboro, NC with plans to build a new church building that would a_noemailmodate future
growth and expansion. The church building was_noemailpleted in the year 2000, and the
congregation recently_noemailpleted paying off all the loans generated by this venture. We are
now debt free and poised for the growth we envisioned at the beginning of this expansion. All
we are lacking now is the right man as our Senior Pastor to lead us forward. Now that we are
debt free we are well able to reasonably_noemailpensate our new Pastor. His_noemailpensation will be
dependent upon his qualifications. The applicant chosen will be required to make his
residence in the Greensboro, NC area. The address of our church property is 4401 Sumner
Church Road, Greensboro, NC 27406.

along with a letter stating why you feel you would be perfect as our new Senior Pastor.
