Job Description:

University Baptist Church, located in Houston's Clear Lake_noemailmunity, is seeking a full-time Worship Pastor. UBC has a rich heritage of traditional worship including sanctuary choir, adult ensembles, orchestra, handbells and graded choirs, which is the primary responsibility of the Worship Pastor.

Qualifications: Spiritually mature, creative and gifted with disciplined musical skills. Masters in music related field. Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities: Planning, preparing, recruiting and training volunteers to lead in authentic worship experiences throughout the year with particular emphasis on Holy Week/Easter and Advent/Christmas, and manage/oversee all music ministries of the church.
 

Qualifications:

Education: Masters in music related field
Technical: Conducting experience, proficient in a musical instrument
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Experience: Should have prior experience as Minister of Music in church of comparable size, or
serve as assistant in a larger church.
Personal Attributes: Leadership skills. Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work
diplomatically with all types of people.
