Qualifications and Knowledge
One to five years of hands-on ministry experience.
Give evidence of a committed relationship with Jesus Christ and exhibit strong pastoral and preaching abilities.
A strong Christian faith and commitment to the Scriptures as the written Word of God.
A thriving prayer life.
Show evidence of character traits and behaviors required for church leadership (Titus 1:6-9).
Capable of leading the congregation by example, energizing, and equipping the members to build Christ's Kingdom.
Able to work well with Board of Directors, staff and other leaders of the church.
Demonstrate strengths in leadership and management skills.
Ability to manage changing and conflicting priorities.
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
Demonstrate interpersonal, communication skills, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters.
