Job Description:

Full-Time Pastor to Junior High and High School students and their parents.
Evangelize, disciple and mentor students 7th to 12th grade and their parents.
Develop meaningful relationships with 5th and 6th graders and leaders in Children's Ministry.
Work alongside other ministry leaders and participate in special events such as VBS, Mission Trips, and other church events maintaining a strong teamwork mentality.
Organizing and participating in special events, winter retreats, summer camps,_noemailmunity outreach/service, mission trips, and fundraisers for Student Ministries.
Visioneering, outreach,_noemailanize, plan, teach, evaluate, lead and recruit many adult parents and leaders to embrace and mentor students and their parents.
Disciple, mentor and recruit student leaders.
Report to and_noemailmunicate regularly with the Senior Pastor.
Coordinate_noemailmunity partnerships that promote building relationships with students at schools and in the_noemailmunity. Reaching outside the current pool of students.
Facilitate and lead dynamic, contemporary Student Worship Team/Band and coordinate opportunities for them to regularly lead worship both in the youth setting and during regular Worship Services.
Respect and value students and parents.

Qualifications:

Passionate for God, Jesus and the Bible.
Passionate for youth and their parents.
Creative, innovative, high energy, willing to reach outside the box and take risks.
Proficient with current and trending technology, social media, and multi-media.
Stay abreast of new resources and changes in student ministry and student culture and adjust programming as needed to maintain a current and effective program.
Able to maintain discretion and effectively deal with sensitive and or confidential information.
Strong knowledge of the Bible.
Able and passionate about teaching the Word of God with excellent communication skills in order to reach, teach and motivate students to live out a Christ centered life.
Wisdom yet teachable and coach-able.
Passionate and knowledgeable about Christ centered contemporary music and able to lead student musicians in a proficient manner.
Bachelor degree at least.
Team player not lone ranger with willing to developing relationships within a multi-gen community.
