Child Development Center Director Job - Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Plymouth, Minnesota

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks of the Child Development Center Director

1. Plan,_noemailanize, direct, manage, and supervise programs for children and families.

2. Facilitate positive relations among Child Development Center staff, families, Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church staff and congregation.

3. Maintain, develop, or modify curriculum to address the best practices of early childhood education while maintaining our Lutheran Christian identity.

4. Collaborate with staff members in setting individual goals and classroom education plans that align with the overall mission of the Child Development Center.

5. Handle day-to-day administration of the Child Development Center, including determination of all schedules, assignment of staff responsibilities, and utilization of shared spaces and resources.

6. Set the strategic direction of the Child Development Center in conjunction with the Board of Directors and the Executive Ministry Team.

7. Adapt programming to address the evolving needs of our_noemailmunity.

8. In collaboration with the Board of Directors and Executive Ministry Team, maintain and implement the policies and procedures as defined in the Employee and Parent Handbooks as well as the policies of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church.

9. Conduct annual Individual staff performance evaluations that focus on personal and professional development.

10. Lead regular staff meetings for continued educational development and growth.

11. Develop marketing, advertising, and recruitment plans as needed to maintain optimal school enrollment (in collaboration with the Communications Director).

12. Ensure_noemailpliance with licensing requirements and all other applicable county, state and federal laws, rules and regulations and serve as the primary point of contact with all applicable governmental and regulatory bodies.

13. Plan and implement health and safety programs including universal health precautions, emergency procedures, and facility and equipment safety.

14. Manage all aspects of student admissions including, enrollment process, tuition costs, orientation, and tours.

Education and Experience

1. Has at least a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in education and certifications in the State of Minnesota

2. Preferably has a minimum of three years' experience as a director or teacher in an early childhood education program

This is a full-time, salaried position around 45 hours a week.

This position reports to the Senior Pastor.
