Children's Ministries Administrator
(Approximately 25–35 hours per week)
Trinity Church in Morton, Illinois, is a spiritually vibrant and growing congregation. Our vision statement, "A people of God's Presence, visibly demonstrating the Kingdom of God," embodies our culture and ministry. We are seeking a children's director to lead and support our growing children's ministry. This role involves overseeing programs for Nursery to 6th Grade.
The ideal candidate will have a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, be empowered by the Holy Spirit, have a deep love for children and families, and have strong administrative and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with the Family Ministries Pastor to develop vision, implement curriculum, and coordinate volunteers and events.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Children's Ministry teams
Schedule and support volunteers
Organize events and classroom materials
Order curriculum and supplies
Communicate with parents, staff, and church leadership
Oversee classroom decor and seasonal themes
Serve as a pastoral connection for families and volunteers
Implement the vision of Trinity Church
Represent the Children's ministry to the church
Qualifications
A vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
Ability to hear and follow the Holy Spirit
Passion for discipling children and families
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
