Yountville Community Church is seeking a part-time passionate and experienced Children's Ministry Director to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Envisions, encourages, supports, and equips effective ministry offerings that help children and families embrace Christ
-Develops an effective Children's Ministry model that serves to disciple children and parents
-Builds and maintains quality relationships with children and parents through ministry and community involvement, weekly communication, encouragement, responsiveness, and support
-Recruits, trains, and retains volunteers. Ensures all volunteer screening is completed in a timely manner prior to scheduling volunteers.
-Schedules volunteers in Planning Center
-Oversees all Children's Ministry classes and events including VBS
-Participates in the annual budget preparation for children's ministry, monitors expenditures, and implements budgetary adjustments as necessary
-Assist in the Administration Office as needed
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

-Personally engaged with Yountville Community Church's mission and vision
-Supportive of Yountville Community Church's beliefs, values, and practices
-Ability to model proactive truth in love and conflict
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree preferred from an accredited college or university. Ministry-related preferred.
-3 years of experience in recruiting, training, and leading volunteer teams
-Experience can substitute for education
-Excellent leadership and organizational skills
-Ability to build and promote team culture through relationships, collaboration, and kingdom teamwork
-Knowledge and skills in Planning Center
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and staff
-Ability to plan, organize projects and prepare detailed reports and presentations
-Knowledge and experience with budget development, expense tracking/reporting and administration
-Knowledge of computer office applications and equipment
-Ability to multitask
-Ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both verbal and written means
-Willing to flex some time between Children's Ministry and Administration Office
-Sundays required
$25 per hour
10-12 hours per week
