Job Description:

All Saints Anglican Church in Weddington North Carolina is in need of a Choir Director (our beloved Hilda is retiring!). We are a growing parish in the suburban Charlotte area and hold two services each Sunday morning. The 9am service is choir led, with repertoire ranging from classical selections, to hymn arrangements to settings of third world worship songs with percussion. We also sing some classic praise choruses during_noemailmunion in this service.

We are seeking a person who will select musical offerings, rehearse the choir in them and offer them in the Sunday services and other occasional services that take place through the year (such as Advent Lessons and Carols, Holy Week services and Evensong services).

We are looking for a person who sees music as an offering to God and has a deep desire to offer worship that is biblically grounded, excellent, Spirit filled and consistent with that of the evangelical Anglican tradition. This person must be gifted in leading a choir, vocal coaching, working with instrumentalists such as harpists, flautists and brass players, keeping the program_noemailanized and handling the challenges that arise when dealing with human beings.
